Here we are again, the latest instalment in my monthly favourites series.
The summer is over and everyone is back to school; I can practically smell the pumpkin spiced lattes, mmmm.

August has been an exciting month for stardustbelle! I was invited to my first event, a wonderful morning spent with the Cocoa Brown team and some of Ireland's top bloggers. I wrote a post all about that event here.

As usual, I had a lot of favourite products this month (!!), so read on for my top 10 picks for the month of August in no particular order . . .

1 ~ Cocoa Brown Kind Shampoo & Conditioner
I am a big fan of this new range from #girlboss herself, Marissa Carter and Cocoa Brown. Read my review of the range here and see why I love this shampoo and conditioner. I originally had the travel sizes a while back but I have been using the range now since I was at the Bloggers Breakfast to launch the range (link is up above) and it has certainly lived up to what it claims to do. My hair has been so healthy and full of volume, I've even had people compliment me on my hair.
Available in Penneys stores, pharmacies nationwide and Brennans Pharmacy.

2 ~ Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation
I bought this foundation in Sephora when we were away on honeymoon (mini Sephora haul post here) and I absolutely love it. I get asked a lot when I wear this makeup what it is. It's a splurge but totally worth it! It lasts on my face all day, very rarely needing a touch up. It is available in 40 shades so you will definitely find a shade that is perfect for you. It feels like a second skin but the coverage is medium, containing a 'light-diffusing' formula to make your makeup look natural and your skin look flawless... who doesn't want that!
Make Up For Ever is available on Debenhams online and the Oxford Street store.

3 ~ Flormar Magical Effect Colour Correcting Cream
This is a little gem I tend to forget about but then when I re-use it again I remember how much I love it. This CC cream is available in four different shades; purple, green, pink and neutral, and all shades are colour correctors for various skin complaints. I have the green shade, which is to neutralise redness. It can be worn alone or under your foundation. Depending on how much time I have, I wear it some days on it's own but other days on the parts of my face that need neutralised under my foundation. It is very green coming out of the tube but the way it immediately adapts to suit your own skin tone is actually magic!
Flormar is available in pharmacies nationwide, including Brennans Pharmacy, Carndonagh, Co. Donegal.

4 ~ Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
My friend took me this liquid eyeliner home from America recently and it is brilliant. It has a superfine tip to make application sooo easy and it literally just glides on. I use this for a simple line above my upper lash line, and it is so effortless to put on. The colour does not budge all day and it is waterproof.
Kat Von D is available in Sephora but the cosmetics range is coming to Debenhams soon.

5 ~ Eau Thermale Avéne Cleanance Cleansing Gel
This product is one of Avene's best sellers! The Cleanance range is ideal for oily and blemish-prone skin. If you suffer from blemishes, whiteheads or blackheads this is for you. I suffer with blemishes when I am stressed (my recent assignments have been a big factor!) and at certain times of the month (*eye roll*) and his cleansing gel works wonders.
It is free from soap and alcohol so it is not drying whatsoever. It also contains an ingredient called monolaurin which helps regulate sebum (oil) production and mattifies the skin. It is a face wash that leaves my skin feeling so clean and fresh. I have been using this about most mornings, I would use the Nip + Fab Gylcolic Cleansing Fix a couple of times a week; I mentioned this product in my July monthly favourites post here.
The Avéne range is available in pharmacies nationwide, including Brennans Pharmacy, Carndonagh.

6 ~ Flormar Lipliner and Deluxe Cashmere Lipstick Stylo
If you haven't already guessed, I am a big fan of this pharmacy/drugstore cosmetic brand and having it in my work is all the better!
Flormar recently released the Deluxe Cashmere Lipstick range and oh em gee.. the casing of these lipsticks alone is what caught my eye first. Shiny, gold and beautiful and at only €5.95 each, brilliant value. This lipstick range is available in eleven different shades. I have two shades, DC28 Absolute Nude and DC36 Natural Rosewood, and I have been wearing them to death. I adore the colours of these two lipsticks and I have been wearing them with the Flormar lipliner in shade no.229, I just love the colour combination. Both the lipliner and lipsticks last on me for ages before I need to reapply.

7 ~ Imperial Leather Shower Cream Sweets Collection
Everyone who knows me knows I  l o v e  sweets. And I love shower gels, I am buying different shower gels/creams all the time. So I was very pleasantly surprised when I was in my local Boots store recently and seen Imperial Leather's new range of shower creams, a Sweets collection and a Fruits collection. I took one of each of the Sweets collection, £1 each, cheap as chips! There is Marshmallow, Sherbet Lemon, Fruit Chew, Banana and Spearmint available ... Mmmm. The one I am currently obsessed with the marshmallow, it is soooo nice and good enough to eat!
I have only seen these shower creams in Boots stores, but I am sure they will be in most pharmacies and larger supermarkets.

8 ~ Pestle & Mortar Pure Hyaluronic Serum
I mentioned in my night-time routine post that you can read here. I only got this last month and it is fast becoming a firm favourite of mine. I only use it at night-time as it is then when your skin is doing all it's repairing. I apply 3-4 drops to my skin after toning, before moisturising, absorbs in seconds. The concentrated serum targets fine lines, dullness and dehydrated skin. This product can also be used as a velvety smooth makeup primer, I am yet to try it as a primer though. It's a pricey product but will last you forever and is worth every penny, especially if you want to invest in good skincare.
Pestle & Mortar is available in Cara Pharmacy online.

9 ~ Powder 'n' Pout The Powder Dome P100
Another monthly favourites post, another Powder 'n' Pout favourite! This time the brush of the month is the P100 Powder Dome, a fabulous large rounded and fluffy brush. I use this brush to dust loose powder all over my face to set my makeup and it is the best powder brush. It is made with super soft fibres and it feels so soft on your skin. It is a full and dense brush, making it a multi-purpose brush for loose or pressed powder on the face and body. Powder 'n' Pout makeup brushes are my favourite and you can read my review on other brushes in the range here.
The makeup brushes are available in the Powder 'n' Pout salon, pharmacies nationwide and online here.

10 ~ Snapchat!
Social media queen over here! Add me up on Snapchat (and the rest) -- @stardust_belle or by snapcode, my little ghost is on the right hand side of my blog.
Snapchat is the hottest social media app right now. It's dynamic and innovative, constantly adding features to be better than the last update.
I follow too many people but those whose stories I never fail to miss are:
@cartermarissa (Cocoa Brown CEO)

That's all for this month's favourites!

Thanks for reading
Danielle x
