Products I'm loving

Hello everyone,

So I just wanted to share some of the products I am currently loving:
First up is the Flormar Illuminating Primer Make Up Base ~ this is my absolute favourite primer, and I have tried many. The consistency is light and it contains acacia and green tea, creating the perfect base for makeup. The Flormar primer smooths out any lines and brightens the skin so can be worn alone too. I have combination skin so in my opinion this is a delightful primer that keeps my makeup in place all day. I have just re-purchased another bottle!

The next product I have been loving is another beauty must-have from the Flormar range. Flormar's range of CC creams ~ "Magical Colour Effect Correcting Cream" ~ is a multi-purpose beauty product which illuminates and transforms your skin. Flormar's CC creams are available in a variety of shades, all with a different purpose:

  • CCO1 Purple: Brightens tired looking skin by balancing the yellow/green tones in your skin, to give you a more alert, fresher look.
  • CCO2 Green (my fave): Helps neutralise redness to give a more natural, even look.
  • CCO3 Pink: Neutralizes blue-green tones in your skin, to banish dark circles under the eyes.
  • CCO4 Neutral: provides extra coverage and is ideal for problematic areas such as scars.
I have been using the CC02 Green shade and I love it. The CC creams can be worn either alone or under makeup. When I first seen these on the Flormar stand, all I could see were the colours so to be honest I was not interested... until I complimented my friend one day on her makeup being gorgeous and she said that it was the green CC cream. I couldn't believe it! I immediately read up about the products, and decided the green shade would suit my skin best to neutralise the natural redness I have in my skin. I would mostly wear this alone when I do wear it, I don't think it needs more make up on top of it. How the colour changes in the makeup to adapt to your own skin tone is *magical*, plus it contains SPF15, bonus!

Another product I love and is a staple part of my makeup routine is none other than the Pippa Palette for Blank Canvas. Pippa O'Connor, well known Irish sweetheart, collaborated with Blank Canvas Cosmetics to create this gorgeous piece of makeup art. It contains six nude toned, matte finish, pigmented eyeshadows which are all velvety in texture and very easy to blend. All the colours are ideal for creating a natural to intense smoky eye, from day to night, whichever you prefer All shades can be worn alone or layered for intensity and longer lasting. The Pippa Palette also contains three face shades, a gorgeous peachy pink blush, a warm brown bronzer/contour and last but certainly not least, the highlighter. Each piece in the palette has an endearing name, which makes it a makeup piece that you know Pippa has put her heart and soul into.
The three face shades are my favourite items from the palette and if Pippa were ever to create these as individual pieces I would certainly buy them. The blush is a beautiful shade, the countour is easy to apply and a subtle warm brown rather than being too orange, but the highlighter Lulu... WOW. The highlighter is the stand out piece for me, J'adore! The glow this highlighter gives your skin is lush.
The palette packaging is an adorable shade of pink with a mirror inside, perfect for every make up bag and for travelling.

I recently was lucky enough to attend Suzanne Jackson aka SoSueMe's workshop in Buncrana last month. I had an absolutely fantastic day and got to meet Suzanne herself, and what a babe! She is so lovely, down to earth and super ambitious. Suzanne motivated me to finally blow the cobwebs off this blog and get back into the blogging world again! Blogging is my 'thing', it's my niche ~ I spend alot of time reading other blogs and following all the bloggers in Snapchat, so it is about time I started putting some of that time spent into my own blog! I can not wait to get my hands on her SOSU Contour Palette when it comes back in to stock.. Watch out on @brennans_pharm twitter, snapchat and instagram, I will keep you updated when it is back in stock,

Anyway.. at the workshop we were gifted with awesome goodie bags and included in the bag was a trial size of the Cailyn Dizzolv' It Makeup Melt Cleansing Balm. I have experimented alot with makeup removers over the years but never tried a cleansing balm before, until now. Oh. My. God. This stuff is amazing. I just take a little bit, rub it all over my face with it melting quickly, including my eyes taking care to rub them gently but making sure I am getting at the mascara, then take it off with a hot damp face cloth and everything is removed. I love it! I will definitely be purchasing this before my trial size runs out.

I love perfume and one of my favourites lately has been Prada Candy. I got it as a lovely gift at Christmas and as you can see from the photo, I'm almost out. I really love this perfume. It would be called a 'warm and spicy' perfume, spicy perfumes are my thing. I will be in the Duty Free next week, jetting to California on our honeymoon so I will definitely be repurchasing this perfume.

That's all.. for now. Quick post this time!
Thanks for reading!

  1. I have been quite a fan of Prada Perfumes for last 3 years. My wife has started using Prada Candy EDP version in this summer. The fragrance is quite amazing. By the way, thanks for sharing this post.
